THe Ghana Project 2025

In September 25th 2025 Project Monday traveled to Ghana Africa to partner with the Adonten Senior High School. During the 2025 Ghana Project we updated their science and biology labs with new stools for the students, a brand new screen projector and also a brand new projector screen.

Adonten Senior High School is located on a plateau on the Aburi - Nsawam road. The School started as a private senior high school at Aburi - Akuapem on 10th January 1957 by Mr. Moses Agyare Kwabi.

From 1957 to September 1963 the school was run and organized by the proprietor, who was then the part-time Headmaster and General Manager. However, on 1st October 1963, the Ministry of Education absorbed Adonten Secondary School into the public system as a day secondary school with hostel attached.

At the beginning of the 1972/73 academic year, the government of Ghana fully took over the running of the school.

The school offers a comprehensive education with both day and boarding options and features six dynamic academic programs namely; General Science, General Arts, Home Economics, Business, Visual Art and Agricultural Science.
